Next summer, Fortimedix Surgical will settle at the Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Sittard-Geleen. The move from the current location in Nuth is planned for the third quarter of 2019, when the construction of the new building at the campus has completed.
Fortimedix Surgical develops and manufactures advanced surgical instruments. The first product, symphonX™, is being used in leading hospitals in the United States and Europe for abdominal laparoscopic surgery. By leveraging smart technology and innovative concepts, the company brings the current surgical procedures to the next level. “We are conscious that this is only possible by challenging the status quo, unlocking knowledge through co-creation and by investing in various ways of collaboration.”
“The Brightlands culture of innovation and collaboration is perfectly in line with our company culture and fits our ambitions and strategy very well.” said Wout Bijker, CEO of Fortimedix Surgical.
Bert Kip, CEO of Brightlands Chemelot Campus: “We are excited to welcome Fortimedix Surgical at our campus. An internationally operating high-tech company that is looking for collaboration opportunities in the medical field as well as for innovative applications of materials obviously fits here very well.
