This quarter, the revenues of the Brightlands Cycle Tour (organized by The Brightlands Vitality Program in co-creation with Fysio Bastiaens) and the collecting boxes in the restaurant of Center Court, has been donated to SOS Children’s Villages in Vari, close to Athene. Roger Postema, product development specialist for Keltan at Arlanxeo, delivered the 500,- cheque personally to “his” SOS family, who he visits and supports already for years. Roger even received a personal thank you letter from Epameinondas Lorandos, director of SOS Children’s Village.
At Brightlands we like to see our campus inhabitants as a big Brightlands family as well and therefore the values of SOS suits ours well. On behalf of the SOS mother and her 6 children, the Greek SOS director, Mr. Lorandos at the Vari SOS Village, thanks all Brightlands Chemelot Campus inhabitants very much for this specific charity action.
SOS Children’s Villages is a worldwide charity organization, founded by Austrian Hermann Gmeiner, which ensures that children are able to grow up in a loving SOS family, headed by a SOS mother. One of her main goals is to support and develop her children in a caring way in order to prepare them for a future self-supporting life.
