Construction work @ Brightlands Chemelot Campus
January – March 2020
The preparatory work for the demolition of building 110 has already begun.
From Monday, January 13, 2020, the architectural demolition of building 110 starts.
This will lead to a sharp increase in logistics movements on the road between building 110 and the Brighthouses.
The work has an impact on traffic flows, for motorized traffic, but also for cyclists and pedestrians.
From January 13, it is prohibited to park along the entire road/street between buildings 110, 94/93, 220/240 and 250/26. Security will oversee the parking ban.
The road between buildings 110 and 94 is closed to all traffic, except for construction traffic and emergency services.
Loading and unloading for buildings 220/240 and 130 is allowed at the back of these buildings.
Loading and unloading for the buildings 250/260 is allowed through the logistics squares.
The alternative traffic routes are indicated on the floor plan below.
Besides the demolition of building 110, construction work on the Brightlands Chemelot Campus includes the following activities:
- Demolition of building 8A
- Renovation of buildings 94 and 93
- Installation building site 002/003 and digging of slot around building 002/003
- Renovation and extension of building 11
- Renovation of building 87
- New construction building 26
We will keep you informed of the developments.
