We made an overview of the first experiences in Center Court: what went well, what can be improved? We share this information with you.
What went well?
- Quality of the building and its facilities.
- The building certainly has a WOW! Factor.
- All meeting and congress facilities are actively used.
- There is an increasing demand for the sports facilities.
- The concept of working together seems to work. People do meet by chance.
- The move from Building 24 and other buildings to Center Court went smoothly.
In summary: Center Court is a big forward step in the campus development: “the campus heart started beating.”
Points of improvement
- Business restaurant “Fields” should be used more as a meeting and working space; just like we did in Building 24.
- We received comments about high end prices in business restaurant “Fields” and espresso bar “Mill’s”.
- The price for the use of auditorium “Arthur” by tenants.
- The temperature in the building is (still) too cold.
- Safety: the restaurant stairs. We’re currently working on a solution; the short-term solution is placing a ‘be careful’ sign.
The campus management has decided to evaluate these and other findings after three months. In the meantime, we like to emphasize that Hutten offers a complete assortment of food and also offers low-priced food items. The appreciation for this can be derived from the increasing number of visitors.
